Foldily Service Terms and Conditions

At Foldily, we want you to be completely satisfied with our services. We treat your laundry with the same care as if it were our own, but to ensure clarity, we have a few guidelines for Foldily (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") and our valued customers. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the following Terms and Conditions.

Wash-and-Fold Laundry Terms

Separation of Clothing and Inspection

White Loads: We take every measure to separate clothing by colors appropriately; however, when orders do not make up a full load (at least 15 lb), we will wash all clothing together on a cold wash setting using color catcher sheets. We do not take responsibility for color transfer when your order does not make a complete load of whites. If you prefer to have all whites washed separately at all times, even if it does not meet the minimum weight requirements, please notify us or make notes in your order, and you will be charged the $30 minimum each time.

Inspection: We will inspect all items during separation before washing your laundry. Unless notes accompany your order, we will inspect for stains and automatically treat stains at the additional costs outlined on our pricing menu. We are not responsible for pre-existing stains and will make note of anything we discover that is "set-in" prior to our handling. We will also inspect all pockets to remove any items found in your clothing. Anything found will be placed in a zip-top bag and safely returned in your delivery. We are not responsible for items left in clothing we do not see, hidden, sewn in, or unaware of.

Suitability for Laundering

By using Foldily’s services, you agree that your clothes are appropriate for standard laundering, including washing in water on a normal cycle and drying with heat in a tumble dryer. We cannot be responsible for any damage to clothing unsuitable for this process. Additionally, we reserve the right to decline items we deem hazardous to our team or unsuitable for standard laundering.

Items We Cannot Accept Due to Specialized Care Needs:

  • Dry Cleaning
  • Leather
  • Silk
  • Wool
  • Plastics
  • Fur or Synthetic Fur (unless machine washable, but we reserve the right to decline)
  • Vegan Leather, Pleather, or Vinyl
  • Area rugs (unless machine washable, such as the brand Ruggable, but we reserve the right to decline)
  • Wedding dresses, Formal Attire, Tuxedos, Suits
  • Beaded or Sequined Attire
  • Costumes
  • Hats/Headwear
  • Shoes (unless machine washable, but we reserve the right to decline)

Items We Cannot Accept Due to Potential Risk to Our Team and Equipment:

  • Period underwear
  • Cloth diapers
  • Training pants
  • Heavily soiled bedding or clothing
  • Wet or damp items

Contaminated Items We Cannot Accept:

  • Items soiled with human or pet waste (urine, feces, blood, vomit, etc.)
  • Items exposed to bed bugs, lice, roaches, or other insects
  • Items with strong smoke or odor from cigarettes, cigars, or marijuana
  • Items contaminated with poison ivy or poison oak oils
  • Items with cooking grease, motor oil, or other hazardous chemical residue
  • Items with drug paraphernalia
  • Items with excessive dirt, mud, or heavy soiling

Orders that contain ineligible or restricted items may be declined at pickup or returned unprocessed. We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep Foldily’s service safe and reliable.

Damaged Laundry

We take every precaution to avoid damage to your laundry, but there are limits to what we can prevent. For example, we take every measure to check every pocket, but sometimes things are missed, so we aren’t responsible for any damage caused by items left in clothing (such as lipstick, gum, or pens). If you notify us about any item left in your laundry, we will do our best to locate it, though we cannot guarantee it.

All laundering, even with gentle care, can cause normal wear and tear on clothing. Therefore, we are not responsible for wear and tear, such as fading, button loss, holes, or abrasions. Likewise, we reserve the right to refuse to launder specific items if we feel they may be damaged. Additionally, our standard procedure is to wash all items together in your order unless special instructions are provided. We do not take responsibility for color transfer or changes in size from washing or drying.

Lost Laundry

While we take measures to keep track of your laundry, we cannot inventory every piece, making it challenging to verify each item. However, all bundles are tagged with your name and weighed, and your items remain secure within our facility. If you believe something is missing, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, as prompt notification improves the chances of recovery.

Dry Cleaning Terms

We do not accept Dry Cleaning at this time.

General Terms for All Services

Scheduling, Minimums, and Payments

Schedule your service online at foldily.co/book. Notify us before 8:00 AM on your pick-up day to ensure same-day pickup; we’ll try to accommodate requests after that but cannot guarantee availability. If you wish to cancel the service, simply let us know before your pickup time—no extra charge. Once items have been laundered, we cannot offer refunds, and weight assessments are final, subject to a $30 minimum.

Pick-up and Delivery Scheduling

We strive to meet agreed pick-up and delivery times but may encounter delays due to unforeseen circumstances. If you miss a pick-up or delivery, we’ll work to reschedule but cannot guarantee same-day adjustments.

Unattended Pick-up and Delivery

Foldily is not responsible for items left before pick-up or after drop-off. You agree that our records of pick-up and drop-off times are accurate.

Allergies

We use professional-grade detergents but offer a hypoallergenic option for those with sensitivities.

Miscellaneous

We may occasionally update these terms as our services evolve, so please review them periodically.

Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Foldily. Standard messaging rates may apply based on your carrier. To opt out of notifications, contact us via email; requests via social media cannot be honored.
